Luc-Alain BAUMBERGER, studied at the University of Geneva (Bachelor and Master), with a semester of exchange at the University of Zurich during his Master.

After a two-year traineeship at SJA Avocats SA, he obtained his bar exam in October 2017. He opened his own office on 1 December 2017, before founding the law firm Schmidt & Associés on 1 January 2019.

He practices in French and English.

He is a general practitioner, specialising in criminal law, family and inheritance law, real estate law and adult and child protection law.

In addition to his work at the bar, and after having been a substitute judge for 4 years, he has been a clerk at the Military Court 1 since 1 January 2016.
